The goal of the research project DUNE/éole is to explore and design what the university of the future could be like.1,2 The vision is structured in 3 axes: learning spaces are redesigned to blend physical and virtual environments, educational resources are structured and shared across institutions, and learners are given tools to take full control of their educational journey.
Under action 3.2, which focused on creating an external digital vault for lifelong learners, I developed a GDPR-compliant cloud platform that integrates with the university’s existing systems, to securely manage and store student academic records. A proof of concept blockchain infrastructure was developed with Hyperledger to certify the authenticity and integrity of each document, ensuring trust, security, and interoperability across the 5 universities of the consortium.
